Applications of TESTEX fabrics include:

• machine coverings for high performance mangles, ironing presses and ironing tables
• fabrics for moist and wet wiping systems for use in building cleaning
• textiles for laundry transport

The design and performance of successful laundry and cleaning textiles depend on the performance requirements of such fabrics and must depend an individual application.

Fabrics are supposed to withstand high temperatures and hydrolysis. They need to be fast to washing and colourfast under extreme circumstances of high humidity and hot temperature. In addition, IBENA TESTEX fabric has a high air permeability and correspond to the requirements of the Accident Prevention Directive for Laundries (VBG 7y) to be bacteria restraining.

In addition fabric for moist and wet wiping systems possess particularly high water retention potential.

Depending on the individual application, IBENA TESTEX fabrics are made from different materials and high performance yarns. They are differently finished according to specific regulations prevailing in each particular industry. IBENA often uses cotton, polyester, polyamide and aramides (Nomex®), both in staples and filament form, for the making of this important group of product.
