Industrial textiles from IBENA meet the highest technical and quality requirements.
Next to a wide range of standard fabrics for
a big number of industry specific fabrics like filter fabrics, scrims and supporting fabrics are produced that follow primarily the needs and demands of the
processing industries where functionality prevails. They are produced against tight specification and industrial norms, and have been very successful when compared with other competitor products internationally.
IBENA is joining forces in that area with two other strong players in the fields of industrial fabric applications, it’s subsidiaries Fugafil saran and Hocks.
Their specialities include:
- filter fabrics - for mechanical solid/liquid separation, for example as filter cloths in the field of sludge filtration in industrial and communal sewage purification, plants or in product filtration in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
- sieve fabrics - in different mesh openings for ready-made sieve bags in pressure filters, sieving filter covers, conveyor belts, fluff sieves in dryers and various other types.
- Fabrics protecting against insects and greenhouse coverings - to keep out flies and mosquitoes or for virus-free culture of young plants
- Decatizing fabrics, wrappers, silicone belts, rubber blankets, felts and fleeces

as sun blind fabrics in trains and buses, or in business premises and offices, especially for work areas with monitor screens

For industrial applications, spun yarn, mono- and multifilaments of different materials are used. Such materials include polyester, polyamide,
polypropylene, Trevira CS® and Nomex® in different fineness and strength.
